Standard features for the Volkswagen Atlas SE include an 8.0-inch touchscreen, adaptive cruise control, three-zone climate control, and remote start. Another irresistible option for the SE trim is the optional second-row captain chairs. Other competitors in the midsize segment don’t offer the captain’s chairs until more money is spent on their pricier trim levels. 

Edmunds 

Similar to Car and Driver, Edmunds declared the VW Atlas SE with the technology package the best trim. So when multiple critics cite the same trim, that’s a great sign that car buying enthusiasts are headed in the right direction. Furthermore, Edmunds suggested the SE trim because it’s adequately equipped and the least expensive way to attain the Atlas’s V6 engine. 

Standard features for the SE trim include LED headlights, a power liftgate, keyless entry/ignition, heated front seats, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and Wi-Fi Hotspot. Safety features for the SE include forward collision mitigation, blind-spot monitor, and rear cross-traffic alert.
