What Is Involved in Becoming a VW Certified Technician?

Volkswagen holds its technicians to the highest standards. Before becoming VW Certified, they must have ASE certification. After becoming ASE certified, technicians must then go through a VW certification program, including courses about VW wiring diagrams, engine design, diagnostics, and more. They will be certified once they have passed the VW certification program; however, this certification does not last forever. To keep their certificate, VW-Certified Technicians will be required to undergo regular training updates. This enables them to stay up to date with the latest advancements from Volkswagen.
