The Intelligent Features of the Volkswagen ID.4

The Mood is so Right

There is ambient lighting or pre-set moods inside of the ID.4. In addition, consumers can utilize the slider bar in the infotainment system to highlight the lighting that fits the mood. 

Never Get Lost Again 

Customers will find a touchscreen display at the central hub, which allows for interactive navigation at the tap of a touchscreen. The 3D navigation map can also be tilted with just two fingers allowing customers to understand what awaits on the road ahead. There are also turn-by-turn directions that are readily available in the center display. 

Derriere Freezing? 

Every ID.4, no matter the trim, contains heated seats and a heated steering wheel. The electric-resistance heater activates within seconds. Just tap two fingers on the temperature slider. Customers can also install the ID.4s default settings, which automatically turn on heated seats and wheel upon startup, only if the temperature falls below a certain level. 

Want to Hear a Joke? 

Suppose the day isn’t feeling too bright. No problem! Just say the words, “Hello ID, tell me a joke,” and a comedian awaits. 

Central Breezing

Let all four windows down just by holding down the rear button located on the driver’s left door panel, and the ID.4 will illuminate in intervals once it’s ready. 

Panoramic Roof to Panoramic? 

Too much sun or too many stars? No problem! With the ID. 4’s voice command, customers have to say “it’s too dark” or “it’s too bright,” and the panoramic roof will open or close the overhead shades of the panoramic roof. 

Rearrange the Cupholders

Sometimes the designers get it wrong, and that’s okay. For example, the ID.4 comes with two sets of cup holders for front-seat passengers. The first set is located in the center console, while the other inserts are concealed under a rolling cover. These inserts for the covered space and the dividers of the open holders can easily be swapped or removed for multiple combination options. 

Any Favorite Features? 

There is the Discover Pro touchscreen that controls the majority of the ID.4s features, it provides the easiest way to access the features that are appreciated the most. Just swipe down from the top of the screen, and a shortcut to the most-used features will appear. Once the shortcut appears, consumers can press and hold any icon on the screen which will populate the menu to customize the quick access function. 

Clean the Camera 

The ID.4 comes equipped with a high-powered jet to wash and wipe the back window and the backup camera lens. Just press and hold the right wiper stalk located toward the windshield.
