Six Volkswagen Vehicles Named as Car and Driver Editors’ Choice Picks for 2022
Car and Driver proudly deemed six different Volkswagen models – Golf GTI, Golf R, ID.4, Jetta GLI, Taos, and Tiguan – to its Editors’ Choice list for 2022. Car and Driver’s latest list consists of 116 different vehicles out of nearly 400 that editors tested, ranked, and rated for this model year. Car and Driver pushes hundreds of vehicles to their limits, often opting for rigorous instrumented testing to selectively concoct its lists. Car and Driver only ranks vehicles on sale during the actual model year as well as those that its staff has hands-on experience with.
“We’re honored to see so many of our models named to the Editors’ Choice list. These vehicles represent the best of what Volkswagen offers and what Americans love to drive. Their combination of smart packaging, safety features, and great driving dynamics, all at a great value, is something we’re proud of, and we’re happy to see them recognized,” said Hein Schafer, Senior Vice President, Product Marketing & Strategy, Volkswagen of America, Inc.
